Time to get this thing going again. I'm off on another adventure, this time: The Gambia.
Last I posted, it was 2006, after a half-year in Australia. Looking back at these posts, it seems like ages ago. It's interesting to look back at who you were a few years back, and think about what's changed, and who you've become. Perhaps I will expand on this further as I begin writing on here again. This next few months will certainly be very different from my time down under. I'm headed to West Africa on Friday. I've never been to the continent, and I'm excited by what's ahead. Hopefully this will be somewhat interesting, as I plan to document my time with some photos, videos, thoughts, stories, etc. I'd like it to be more than just a 'travel blog', if possible. I plan on putting down my thoughts on integrating into a new culture, and maybe going beyond just snapshots. Who knows... We'll see what it becomes.
